Emerging Sydney-based artist Susan Bui has developed a practice spanning a variety of visual mediums, from video and photography to object installation and sculpture.
For Susan, art is a way of making sense of the complexities of life through an exploration of the inner and outer world she inhabits. Her work is characterised by a playful use of everyday objects brought together through experimentation and chance. From this, accidental and coincidental analogies arise that work to supersede the initial function of the objects used.
Susan has recently completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours at the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales.
