2016 Underbelly Arts residency program at Bundanon Trust
In December last year we packed our bags and inflatable watermelons and headed off to Bundanon Trust to check out exciting new works-in-progress by four Australian artists as part of the 2016 Underbelly Arts residency program.
Located on a working property on the Shoalhaven River, this residency was the perfect opportunity to refresh, refocus and get cracking for Underbelly Arts 2017! We broke bacterial bread, learnt how to pickle and got lots of brain (and watermelon) juice flowing with new conversations and new ideas.
We’d like to extend a huge thanks to our 2016 participating residency artists Ivey Wawn, Shahmen Suku, Natalie Abbott and Harriet Gillies and to Bundanon Trust for hosting us. Follow us on Instagram (@underbellyarts) to catch all the highlights.
We can’t wait to head out again in April this year to support 10 artists from our UA17 program in a five-day development residency.
