triage live art collective – Joan of Arc is Alive and Well and Living on Cockatoo Island 0
Feeling misunderstood, or perhaps misrepresented? Are you experiencing pressure to confess? Martyrdom got you down?
J Dark can help…
Joan of Arc is Alive and Well and Living on Cockatoo Island is a One to One participatory durational performance installation event.
In response to a calling card, individuals will rendezvous at an appointed time and place on the island with a woman named J. Dark. The calling card, like a mysterious business card from a 40’s film noir, leads them to an ambiguous meeting. J Dark invites her guests to her ‘rooms’ on the island. Here, an intimate moment of exchange unfolds.
This project explores the creation of a One to One – an immersive, participatory audience-of-one event which subverts traditional notions of performance and investigates performer and audience risk, relationship & responsibility.
triage live art collective create audience-interactive, site-specific and durational performance works.
