Swanbrero – Inflate My Heart With 1000 Gushes of Wind 1

Swanbrero will insert a piece of Parramatta Road into the natural wonderland of Cockatoo Island in their project Inflate My Heart with 1000 Gushes of Wind. Using a combination of video and live performance, the work will experiment with large-scale interpretive choreography, costume and wind to create a melancholic spectacle.

Swanbrero are two interdisciplinary artists who are interested in making magic out of the everyday. They create videos and performances that subvert and explode imagery from popular culture and suburbia. Their separate practices include interactive technology, live art, video and dance.
