Splinter Orchestra ⁰

Splinter Orchestra is a Sydney based large-scale electro-acoustic improvising ensemble. Currently comprised of 35 members from a wide range of musical, regional and experimental backgrounds, the Splinter Orchestra achieves a graceful tension, restraint and simplicity within its music. During Underbelly Arts they will be improvising with and against various sonic spaces on Cockatoo Island, creating one-off, site-specific improvised music.
