PROJECT: SNAIL PIECE

Since earning their debut accolade “You guys are crazy!” at Short +Sweet 2009 (courtesy of Festival Director Alex Broun), Applespiel have gone on to perform at Monthly Friend, NightTime and the Tiny Stadiums Festival. They host and perform ‘Appleloft’ the recurring suburban performance evening in Wollongong.

Applespiel are Rachel Roberts, Nathan Harrison, Mark Rogers, Troy Reid, Jarrod Duffy, Simon Binns & Joseph Parro. They are bringing a snail and a hammer to Underbelly Arts. Over the course of the Lab and Festival, Applespiel and audience will ask what happens next, who decides, and how, as they traverse soapboxes, summits, pulpits and roundtables, and wonder about subterfuge and serious intrigue.
